40th Anniversary
We are turning 40!
Founded in 1986, DSC is Hong Kong’s very first Canadian international school! We opened our doors with just 40 students, and today, we are a thriving, global family of over 1,200 students on campus and 3,000 graduates! We are proud of how far we have come together.
40 For 40 Community Service Challenge
To shine a light on our amazing school community, we have set a goal of 20,000 community service hours from members of the DSC Community.
To accomplish this, DSC will be hosting charity/volunteer events each month for our community members. Students and families can volunteer to help arrange school-based activities or choose an organization of their choice to volunteer with!
In June 2027, we will celebrate the achievements of the community members who have accomplished over 40 hours of service!

Food Supply & Awareness
DSC will organize a school-wide food drive to raise awareness of the community’s food supply for those in need.

Experiential Learning Week (G6 – 12)
Our Grades 6 – 12 will be serving the communities in various volunteering projects around Asia – Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.

Operation Santa Claus
In our 5th Year as the Top School Fundraiser in Hong Kong, DSC will continue the tradition of fundraising for OSCHK through a series of creative events.

DSC will be hosting the Terry Fox Run on Jan 9, 2027, to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Kindness and Diversity
In addition to one of our most celebrated events, Pink Shirt Day, we will also organize a Pink Gala Concert featuring musicians with disabilities. Buy tickets to support our student performers and help fundraise for people with disabilities.
