Laptops must run in Windows or macOS.
Chrome OS and tablet devices, such as iPads, are not acceptable.

- Microsoft Office 2019 or higher. Students may sign in to “office.com” with their active DSC student email to install Office 365, a full version of Microsoft Office.
- Anti-virus software (eg. built-in Microsoft Defender for Windows or XProtect for Mac; or personal choice such as Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky)
Additional software may be required for certain courses.
Warranty
An extended warranty with accidental damage protection is highly recommended. Please check the warranty plans with HK electronics stores such as Fortress or Broadway, or check directly with Lenovo, Dell, Apple stores, etc.
